Located on Deck 6 are the Galaxy’s four primary Transporter Rooms.
In addition, 2 more are located on deck 19. Supplemented by the Cargo transporters
on Decks 4, 11, 13, and 22, the ship's transporter systems allow personnel
and materials to be transported up to 40,000km to ships, bases, planetary
surfaces, or even to locations within the ship (known as "site-to-site
transport").
The ship's
transporter network also includes twenty emergency transporters located
in key areas of the ship, and a network of twelve transporter emitter arrays.
